The Story of Hank

We tell legends about courageous adventurers, who solve tricky puzzles in devious dungeons. But someone has to put everything back together when they're done.

In this game you play as Hank. Hank goes into the dungeon after the hero is finished, and puts keys and items back in the chests.

This is a role reversal of classic action-adventure games like The Legend of Zelda. Instead of collecting resources and exploring ever more of the dungeon, you start with almost full access. The trick is putting everything back, and ending up on the right side of all the locked doors in the end.

How to Play

Arrow keys to move, space to interact and use hookshot. M to mute and unmute audio. If the game doesn't react, clicking the game screen should help.

The goal of the game is to fill all the chests and leave the dungeon. Grab keys from the open doors by walking through, but you can only grab the key from the side it was put in. Space next to a small chest puts in a key, Space next to the big chest puts in the hookshot. You cannot use the hookshot once it's in the chest, but you can take it back out. Good Luck!

sorry mates  don't get the idea of the game :(

Took me a while to figure out why the hook wasn't working anymore after handing it in. Great idea and pretty retro implementation, could use a more concise way to communicate symbols and meaning of things/actions. 4/5, would wish for more levels.
